The sorcerer Luck believes this is the end. Surrounded by powerful demons, he nobly sacrifices himself to hold back their assault while his friends escape. Never resting, Luck endures the clash of swords, a rain of blood, and an endless stream of enemies. Against all odds, he defeats the commander and emerges victorious, only to discover that ten years have passed and his body has regressed to that of a mere teenager. After his triumph, Luck reunites with his friends, the hero Eric Imgard Mendirival and warrior Goran Morton. Thinking Luck is dead, they ensured he was remembered as a hero and prepared to confront the demons themselves, unaware of his achievement. With all this in mind, Luck desires a peaceful life, so he takes on the name Lock and embarks on a journey as a novice adventurer with new companions.
